Little Teacher

Emily sat down in her computer chair and told Linda to sit in a chair. Linda pulled up to her computer while holding Mia. Emily pointed to the computer and said,
" This is a computer and this is how we play! "

A Picnic for Two

Recipe for a Picnic for Two

1 sub sandwich cut in half
1 sub slice for a little person
1 cup chips
2 sodas
1 sippy cup
1 pink picnic table
1 little person
1 big person
2 dandelions

Take the big person and little person and set them on the pink picnic table to bake under a warm sun. Place one plate with 1 sub sandwich and chips with a coke in front of big person. Place 2nd plate with sub slice and chips and a Peach coke in front of little person. Eat. Let little person run around and pick dandelions. Stir in a bug. Little person is ready to back inside.

Emily told me, "Let's go back and be normal inside!"

One bug flying around was enough for her.

Pulling Up

This is Mia's new stunt. Pulling up to a chair, table, crib or toys. She can get up to her knees. I did catch her on one foot and one knee holding on for dear life on the child fence. She was stuck, she wasn't sure how to get down.

WoW!

Mia has a new word! WOW! She says it all day. She looks at her toys and says WOW. Of course since she is learning English, she repeats it all day long.

Bye -Bye

This is Mia waving Bye-Bye. When I make her a bottle, she calls it a bye-bye and waves as we make her bottle. She waves all the time. Her other new word is "ball". I rolled her the ball in her play area and she said "ball". She like any word with a B. She played the Elmo book and Elmo said "This is the letter B". Mia repeated right after Elmo "Bye-Bye.

Quote

Smile. Today would be a wonderful day not to take life so seriously. Today may end up the way you prefer - and it may not. Happiness is not about being a winner - it's about being gentle with life - being gentle with yourself. Let life be a dance, and choose the kind of dance you want for today - perhaps a gentle loving dance.
